As of July 22, 2020, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is reporting 641 cases across 11 states. Bagged salad ingredients of iceberg lettuce, carrots, and red cabbage are of interest in the ongoing investigation.

CYCLOSPORA INFORMATION
Per the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Cyclospora infects the small intestine (bowel) and usually causes watery diarrhea, with frequent, sometimes explosive, bowel movements. Other common symptoms include loss of appetite, weight loss, stomach cramps/pain, bloating, increased gas, nausea, and fatigue. Vomiting, body aches, headache, fever, and other flu-like symptoms may be noted.
