Life Rising DHZC-2 Lead Contamination Recall News – Ton Shen Health of Chicago, IL, announced a recall for its DHZC-2 tablets because the product may be contaminated with elevated levels of lead. The accumulation of lead in the body can lead to “lead poisoning” a condition that can be potentially fatal. Children are particularly vulnerable to the effects of lead poisoning, and may suffer serious health problems including delays in physical and mental development.
One illness has been reported to date in connection with this problem.

Life Rising DHZC-2 Tablets Recalled For Lead Contamination.
According to a company press release, the recalled DHZC-2 tablets were primarily sold in retails stores in the Chicago area, however; and some recalled product was distributed to other states through mail orders.
The recalled product comes in a 1.6 ounce, white plastic package marked with lot # 2163-844 on the bottom, and bears UPC: 616042102727. Sale of the product has been suspended and inventory has been placed on hold while the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the company continue to investigate the source of the elevated lead problem.
Consumers should not purchase or consume the recalled Life Rising brand dietary supplement DHZC-2 tablets.
