Little Hatches Jalapeno Cream Cheese Recall News – Interstate Food Products has issued a recall for its Little Hatches Jalapeno Cream Cheese due to a possible Listeria monocytogenes (Listeria) contamination.
Little Hatches Jalapeno Cream Cheese Recall Information
On May 18, 2021, Interstate Food Products, of Lakewood, CO, initiated a recall for its Little Hatches Jalapeno Cream cheese product due to the presence of Listeria in a product sample. The product name on the label is Little “Hatch’s.”
This recall includes the 14 ounce containers of Jalapeno Cream Cheese with UPC code of 63818396147. They were distributed in six (6) Whole Foods stores in the Denver, CO Metro area. The affected Jalapeno Cream cheese products is in a clear plastic package with a “sell by” date of 05/21 on the top of the container. Routine testing by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) revealed the presence of Listeria in Interstate Food Products’ 14 ounce packages of Little Hatches Jalapeno Cream Cheese.
Consumers who have purchased the affected Jalapeno Cream Cheese products can return them to the point of purchase for a full refund.
