Smilin’ Bob’s Smoked Fish Dip Recall News – Smilin’ Bob’s has issued a recall for various lots of its Original Smoked Fish Dip and All Natural Smoked Fish Dip products due to a possible Listeria monocytogenes (Listeria) contamination.
This recall is in response to Banner Smoked Fish, Inc.’s June 2 and June 4, 2021 recall announcements of smoked fish due to potential contamination with Listeria.
Smilin’ Bob’s Smoked Fish Dip Recall Information
On June 7, 2021, Smilin’ Bob’s recalled its Smilin’ Bob’s Original Smoked Fish Dip and Smilin’ Bob’s All Natural Smoked Fish Dip products because of a potential Listeria contamination. Smilin’ Bob’s used smoked fish that were part of the Banner Smoked Fish recall. A total of 1,261 cases were distributed to retailers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The affected smoked fish dip products have a “Best If Used By” date printed on the side of each container. This recall applies to the following smoked fish dip products:

Consumers who purchased any of the affected smoked fish dip products are urged to return them to the point of purchase for a full refund.
