UVT Saniderm Hand Sanitizer Recall News – UVT, Inc. has initiated a recall for 38,830 liters of “SANIDERM ADVANCED HAND SANITIZER,” packaged in 1-liter bottles in response to Saniderm’s June 26, 2020 recall.
UVT Saniderm Hand Sanitizer Recall Information
On June 29, 2020, UVT recalled “SANIDERM ADVANCED HAND SANITIZER” due to the possible presence of methanol (wood alcohol). The affected “SANIDERM ADVANCED HAND SANITIZER” product has a lot number of 0530 and expiration date 04/2022.
The affected hand sanitizer product was distributed nationwide in the United States.
The FDA recommends consumers stop using these hand sanitizers immediately and dispose of them in appropriate hazardous waste containers. Do not flush or pour these products down the drain.
