San Diego County Health officials announced that they have identified 12 cases of hepatitis A in an outbreak that may be linked to the Chipotle Mexican Grill in La Mesa. The restaurant is located at 8005 Fletcher Parkway.
Health officials urge people who dined at Chipotle Mexican Grill between March 1 and April 22, and are experiencing hepatitis symptoms to see a doctor for testing. If you believe that you may have been affected or are in need of more information, contact county health officials at (619) 515-6620.
Hepatitis A is a disease of the liver caused by the hepatitis A virus (HAV).
