Bagged Salad Cyclospora Outbreak Update News – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has relayed recall notices regarding bagged salad products linked to a multi-state Cyclospora outbreak.

As part of the FDA’s ongoing investigation into a multi-state Cyclospora outbreak, Hy-Vee and Jewel-Osco have recalled their 12oz. bagged and labeled “garden salad” products. These products have been recalled across its eight-state region. The manufacturer of these salads is Fresh Express.
ALDI has advised the FDA that they have removed their ALDI Little Salad Bar Brand Garden Salad from stores.
The FDA is working with retailers to make sure that the potentially contaminated products are removed from the market place. As their investigation continues, the FDA will provide additional updates on the Cyclospora outbreak linked to bagged salad.
